JOIN ASAN TODAY! Now you can officially join our efforts to support small farmers, and protect local communities, our farmland and our environment! Because of the encouragement and support of people like you, the Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network has made great progress over the past seven years. ASAN is -- . .. making the public more aware of the vital issues we address and more supportive of our goals, . . . helping new and conventional farmers adopt sustainable practices, . . .helping develop markets for sustainable farmers, . . . and helping Alabama’s land-grant universities and agricultural agencies see the need for more active support of sustainable farming and small family farms. By becoming a member, you can demonstrate even more support for the work we are doing. We have received some grants in the past few years that have helped us build our momentum, but we can and will do more, much more – with the help of people like you all across the state of Alabama and beyond who understand how important a truly sustainable agriculture is for ourselves, our children, and our children’s children. What have we done lately?
You can also donate to ASAN! Any additional donation you make is tax-deductible. Sponsor a farmer’s registration at a conference, or donate books to our new virtual library, or just help us pay our phone bill! Sorry, we can’t accept your old car, boat or tractor (yet). Call us for details: 256-751-3925.
