Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS)

Works with land users to reduce erosion, improve water quality, promote good land use, improve pasture and woodland conditions, and conserve soil, water, and other natural resources. Provides assistance in developing conservation plans for farms and ranches and some funding to put those plans into effect. Also publishes county soil surveys.
